The Plaintiff challenged the final fee application and requests for fee enhancement of the law firms that represented it during bankruptcy. There were various other claims for final fees, fee enhancement, and substantial contribution requests by a host of other players in the bankruptcy proceedings. This graphic was used to discuss a point of law at a hearing. The purpose of the graphic is that the Material Benefit Test is a test that must be backward looking.
